Bravo 6 "Frozen German Tanker 1941-41" in 1/35th Scale (B6-35102)

I received this outstanding “Resin” figure sculpted by Vladimir Demchenko (Russia) and am happy to review it so others who may not have heard of this series can find them and enjoy them too.  This figure is from the World War II series.

His first series is a Vietnam War Series (if you have ever enjoyed the movie Platoon, you have to see the figures Vladimir has sculpted. OMG! They look just like the characters from the movie. Check them out on line at. http://bravo6.diorama.ru/

This figure is great, he is wearing black tanker pants and has a liberated Soviet padded jacket on to keep warm. (He has a bandage on his head) and has his hands tucked under his arms in an attempt to keep warm..

The Kit:

Contains 1 figure that have no flash. (My figure has a small bubble hole in his padded jacket on the rear left shoulder area, this is not a problem, as I intend to put a stain in that area to show where the former owner of the jacket was shot before this new owner received the jacket).

His uniform and equipment look accurate and extremely well detailed.

Conclusion:

I have heard the name Vladimir Demchenko before, but never saw the detailed figures he made. I am impressed with everything about this figure. He can be done alone or in a diorama

The uniforms and equipment are covered in numerous books, so information on these units should not be too hard to find.

My “Build Review” for this figure will be done some time soon, I only regret that my painting abilities do not live up to the quality of this figure. I highly recommended anyone who enjoys 1/35th scale figures to check out his figures, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.  I would like to thank Alexander Surzhenko of Master Box Models for the review kit.
