Master Box "Famous Generals of WWII" in 1/35th Scale Kit MB35108

This is a very interesting set of Famous figures (Generals) from Britain, The Soviet Union, Japan, Germany, France and the US. Although there are many more Famous Generals (hopefully to follow). This is an interesting set indeed. It contains the following:

General Bernard Montgomery (Infantry/Armor) Britain, He is standing there with his hands in his pockets and comes with two different hats. One is the peaked cap and the other is the Beret.

General (Marshall) Georgy Zhukov (Infantry) Soviet Union, He comes with a pistol holster.

General (Field Marshall) Sugiyama Hajime (Infantry/Air Forces) Japan, the box art shows him with a samurai sword, but there isn't one provided in the kit.

General (Field Marshall) Erich von Manstein (Armor) Germany, he comes with a pistol holster.

General Charles de Gaulle (Infantry/Armor) Free France.

George S Patton Jr. (Infantry/Armor), USA. He comes with a swagger stick and his famous Ivory handled pistols in their holsters. Unfortunately his dog “Willie” pictured on the box art is not in the kit.

The Kit:

Contains 1 sprue with 51 pieces that have no flash.

The uniforms and equipment look accurate (except as mentioned above) and three have sidearms.

It appears that Master Box has another big hit on their hands geared towards famous Generals of World War II that changed the face of war as we knew it.

The uniforms and equipment are covered in numerous books, so information on these units should not be too hard to find.

Overall this should build into an outstanding replica and is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys military soft skinned vehicles. I would like to thank Alexander Surzhenko of Master Box Models for the review kit.
